COVID-19 Safety
We have developed the following guide for participants attending the retreat in an effort to ensure our retreat is as safe of an environment as possible for all.

Before You Arrive
-
Everyone is asked to take a rapid test before leaving their home and arriving at the retreat. If you cannot do this, you will be asked to take one before checking in.
-
We suggest prudent behaviour two weeks before the retreat. If you attend crowded events or public transportation, please wear a mask.

How to prepare:
-
Bring some masks (one for every 48 hours or two days of retreat). N-95 masks are recommended, but not required.
-
Bring a backup test. If you don’t take the test before arriving, please bring two tests.
-
Plan how you would get home in the unfortunate event of testing positive. Please inform your Emergency contact.

In the case of someone testing positive during the retreat
-
A person testing positive for COVID-19 or showing symptoms of another highly transmissible disease, such as the flu, will be asked to leave the retreat. If they are unable to leave right away, they can stay in isolation and wear a mask until it is possible for them to go safely. If the person cannot organise their own transportation, we will call their Emergency contact. Please inform your contact in advance.
-
Anyone in the group having any symptoms will be asked to take a test and inform the manager of the result.
-
Others in the group will be encouraged to wear masks.

We understand that this is a sensitive topic. We have developed this policy based on comments and feedback from teachers and participants and by following policies implemented by other centres.

Thank you for your consideration and collaboration.
